BREAKING! Bulus Moves Up 158 Places, Lands In Top 600 World's Best Players

For consistently performing at the highest level, Christopher Bulus has shot into the top 600 world's best junior tennis players.

A check by Nigerian Tennis Live revealed that the ACES player who made it to the quarterfinal and lost the final of the first and second legs of the Junior ITF Circuit in Benin and Togo respectively, is now ranked 621, moving from the 779 spot he was when the second leg of the championship kicked off on Monday.

Bulus who is eyeing a second consecutive final slot this week, will be hoping to find himself among the top 400 players in the world should he win the tournament in the final leg as he already made progress into the second round of this week's edition.

Bulus could be among the top 400-500 players in the world if he wins this weekend.
He is also one of the players tipped to get a wild card at the fast approaching 2017 edition of the Governor's Cup Lagos Tennis Championship for his spectacular performances over the past few months, both home and abroad.

It is worthy to note that Bulus made it to the top 600 having played in only eight tournaments within the period of evaluation. A signal to the fact that he could be the very best on the continent if he plays more Junior ITF Circuits.

Although the NCC Tennis League is offering the opportunity of a regular tournament in the country, Bulus's inability to play more junior 'futures' may not help him maximize his potentials to the maximum.

Meanwhile, Coach Abel Ubiebi has described Bulus as a calm hardworking and disciplined young man whose works on the courts have been speaking for him.

The ACES trainer noted that, "I am not surprised that he is getting all that is coming his way because he has worked so hard to get here. We haven't even seen the best of this young man yet.

"I wish him all the best in the game of tennis."
