Wheelchair Tennis Players Prepare For 2nd Tournament In Just About Two Months

Barely two months after participating in their first tournament of 2018, wheelchair tennis players are set for another tennis tournament, Nigerian Tennis Live has gathered.

In February, the physically challenged players were intrigued to have played in their first official tournament of the year, as Mr. Tochukwu Okeke, the Vice President of the Mainland Tennis Club, sponsored a tournament held at the tennis section of the National Stadium, Surulere.

Alex Adewale needed about three hours before seeing off closest rival and another great Nigerian wheelchair tennis star, Wasiu Yusuf, to win the inaugural event.

And barely two months afterwards, the players are set for another tournament which Nigerian Tennis Live gathered is sponsored by a certain Mr. Victor, and it will be held at the Tennis Section of the National Stadium as well.

Information made available to our correspondent revealed that the tournament will hold from 16 -20 April, 2018.

The tournament, otherwise named VCN Sports Wheelchair Tennis Tournament is sure to excite the physically challenged tennis players who have been clamouring for their inclusion in the yearly calendar of the tennis federation apart from the annual CBN Senior Tennis Open.
