Nigeria's Sylvester Emmanuel Lands In Uganda For ITF Futures

Nigerian tennis star, Sylvester Emmanuel, is presently in Kampala, Uganda, where he is perfecting his training ahead of the ITF Futures in the East African country, Nigerian Tennis Live can authoritatively report.

The former national champion who was in Abuja for the three-week-long ITF Futures, put away the disappointment of not living up to expectation at the pro-circuit to show how much of a great player he in Uganda.

The young man fondly addressed as Major by his friends and close associates, had been billed to participate in the third week of the ITF Futures in Uganda, but Nigerian Tennis Live checks on the ITF website revealed that he was no longer on the list of players on the acceptance sheet and had withdrawn from the tournament.

He has since bounced back to play in the qualifying series as one of the top seeds in the qualifying rounds (as at the time of filing this report) and is presently training to ensure he gets to the main draw of the $15,000 tournament.

The dark-skinned tough playing Nigerian star posted some pictures of his training sessions on his Instagram page where several followers wished him goodluck in his recent adventure on clay court.

Nigerian Tennis Live can also report that top Zimbabwean tennis pro, Takanyi Garanganga, who was the fans delight during his stay in Nigeria, is also in Uganda for the tournament as the number three seed.
