Team Nigeria have arrived safely in Kenya for the Davis Cup tournament.
The players' top quest at the tournament will be to gain promotion from the Group III which Nigeria has been stuck on for years, to World Group II where the likes of South Africa, et al have been playing for some time.

Nigeria stands a bright chance of gaining promotion this year with the crop of players that are at the tournament, having been exposed to three weeks of ITF Futures and intensive training sessions on clay prior to the trip.

Meanwhile, the draws for the championship will be made on Sunday by 3pm, where the captains of all teams will be present to ensure a smooth process for the brief event.

Nigerian Tennis Live will keep monitoring the performance of the players and report their progress in the competition.
