Dominant Imeh Defeats Sylvester, Wins Second National Title In Two Weeks

Nigeria's number one male tennis player, Joseph Imeh has proven his mettle as Nigeria's best player after defeating Sylvester Emmanuel to emerge as the winner of the 2018 Dala Hard Court Championship in Kano.

The rampaging Imeh who defeated Henry Atseye to win his first ever national championship, was a handful for Sylvester, another strong Nigerian superstar, as he won in two difficult but entertaining sets of 7-6, 5-4 before the former Nigerian number one retired.

With this win, Imeh pockets one million naira in addition to the N500k he won at the Rainoil Championship.

Nigerian Tennis Live will strive to talk to the superstar before the end of the year to get his thoughts on having being dominant in previous years and how that has translated into championship winning feats.
