Nigerian Tennis Live gathered that Oiza, who had earned her first senior national points by winning her first round match against another top player, defeated Ozurumba in what could be classified as a tough match for the number eight seed.

With this result, the young superstar will take on former national champion, Christine Agugbom, in the quarterfinal of the competition.

The legendary Agugbom who has won so many national tournaments and stayed as Nigeria's number one female player for quite some time, will be sure to treat the match with all the seriousness that it requires as she would be trying to avoid an embarrassing defeat in the hands of the youngster.
