At exactly 3pm today, Nigeria's Christopher Bulus began his march into the history books of the Junior ITF Circuit when he stepped out for the boys' Singles final match at the second leg of the tournament.
Bulus had defied all odds against Team Nigeria at the championship, to reach the final of the Singles' event, defeating top players in the process, and will cap it up by defeating Eliakim Coulibaly of Cote D'Ivoire in the final event.

In a chat with Naija Tennis Special before the match, Coach Abel Ubiebi revealed that this match will give the Nigerian star the perfect opportunity of taking his revenge after losing to the player on two different occasions. "They both met in the final and semifinal of ITF U-18 in May which Eliakim won in the final sets.
"This final will create an avenue for Bulus to have his pound of flesh and to show he has learnt his lesson from their previous meetings and has grown ever since," the coach noted.
Meanwhile, Ireland-based Adebola Obasoto departed Nigeria for Dublin on Saturday and was unavailable to watch the final match between Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire.
